Important update for the future of the AOIF program:

The AOIF stallion incentive was introduced in 2019 with the hope of growing the interest to support the Open aged horses with a stallion program here in the Midwest. At the time, most of the incentive programs offered were focused on supporting the futurity and derby aged horses and we felt a need and desire for a local program to offer additional incentives for these older horses still competing. In the 6 years of existence, the AOIF program paid out well over $35,000+.​

While we did see a great interest and support in this the first few years, the barrel industry has shown a growth in many other incentive programs that support the open-aged horses, which in turn causes our stallion owners (who's money fronts majority of the incentive payouts) to have to pick and choose which programs to support. While we understand the decision stallion owners have had to make to go elsewhere with their money, that leaves us in a position where we cannot continue to have worthwhile payouts to justify continuing the AOIF.

This announcement shouldn't be looked at as a negative ~ but rather a huge positive. Because of the increase in incentive money and the offering of a larger distribution across our area, our competitors still have access to great opportunities to win money through other programs.

We encourage everyone to look into the other options offered in our area and support them if possible.
